ABOUT BOS ARTBrett Bosley started making copper art sculptures from old hot water cylinders 10 years ago. He's inspired by his passion for the outdoors and deep respect for Maori culture. By day Bos wears a number of different hats; Security, Local Fire Chief, Plumber and Justice of the Peace to name a few. But this unconventional artist, has a creative side that has led to his unique works being sought after across New Zealand and internationally.

MY LATEST WORK
Inspired by nature
In recent work, I've been exploring bringing real materials together with copper to make the art come alive. This can be seen in my recent Deer Head which encompasses deer antlers molded into a copper head. This weighty piece, pays homage to the beauty of the beast who once carried the antlers. Inspired by seasons, I've also been making flowers for spring. Why buy a bunch of flowers that will last a few days when you can have a copper bouquet that will last a lifetime?

"Living at Lake Tarawera allows me to be constantly inspired by the world around me. I'm thankful for this wonderful place and the supportive community who've motivated me to follow my passion for art."
